The entertainment business and its audiences are currently enjoying a new ‘Golden Age’ of television. Technological revolutions and creative breakthroughs have led to a vast landscape of quality (or trashy but appealing!) shows that define the collective imagination arguably more than even the world of cinema or pop music.
